Wing Ding 2001

The Wing Ding is an Drug Demand Reduction sponsored activity meant to give the cadets of Iowa Wing CAP the chance to do things they don't normally get to do during the course of a year.  In the tradition of General "Hap" Arnold the CAP Wing Ding is a social activity to get cadets together to build camaraderie and esprit de corps.  This year's Wing Ding offered the cadets CAP Orientation Flights, Model Rocketry, Swimming, Land Navigation Training, and tours of various facilities in Waterloo.  For persons interested in joining CAP in the Waterloo area please come to our open house on Monday, 20 August 2001 at the Waterloo Airport.  The open house will be from 7 to 9 pm at Livingston Aviation.  For more information contact Capt. Doug Jansen at 515.291.9625.
