Wing Ding 2003

The Wing Ding is a Cadet Program activity meant to give the cadets of Iowa Wing CAP the chance to do things they don't normally get to do during the course of a year.  In the tradition of General "Hap" Arnold the CAP Wing Ding is a social activity to get cadets together to build camaraderie and esprit de corps.  This year's Wing Ding offered the cadets CAP Orientation Flights in CAP Aircraft and Gliders, Model Rocketry, hands-on Aerospace Education Activities, Water Survival, Swimming, Sports, GPS Training, and a Rescue Simulation that will bring together many of the rescue skills they already know.

The Wing Ding base will be at the Sac City Municipal Airport, Sac City, Iowa.  Participants should plan on arriving before 2200 hours at the Sac City Recreation Center.
