On February 11-13 we went to the Ashland, Nebraska to go to the Strategic Air and Space Museum. The museum had lots of military aircraft that we could go through and learn about. They also had a big exhibit about Mars. It showed how volcanoes on Mars get bigger, and it showed how a dust storm works. I saw a remote-control Mars rover that you have to type in all the commands first, and make it to two points without hitting any of the obstacles. They also had an exhibit on one of the forms of rovers they are developing, which will carry a human passenger on a future trip to Mars. There was also a computer program that told where water used to be on Mars. They had two simulators, puzzles, and plenty of other hands on activities.
