First Aid / CPR Training
Nov 23rd, Saturday 0900-1700 hrs at the Red Cross Bldg in Cedar Rapids. Will start with Adult CPR, then automated external deliberators and finish with first aid. Will count as the "Advanced First Aid" requirement for the GTL requirement. Cost is $10/ to cover the rental of equipment. You will receive (after paperwork, not that day) three Red Cross certification cards. First aid good for 3 yrs, AED and Adult CPR valid for 1 yr each. $5 per person pizza, chips and pop at lunch time. The Grant Wood Area Chapter is located in a new location at 6300 Rockwell Dr, NE in Cedar Rapids. Take the Blairs Ferry exit (after passing through downtown on I-380) and turn right on Rockwell Dr, just past the super Target store at the next light (if you pass Rockwell-Collins or C Ave you went too far). Keep going north on Rockwell Dr. as the bldg is at the end of a dead end road. Please send a confirmation for number of attendees a week out to Col Rex Glasgow or 319-431-7394.

Squadron Leadership School
Starts: 11/23/2002 Ends: 11/24/2002 On 23-24 Nov 2002, Minnesota Wing's, Ft Snelling Cadet Squadron will be hosting a Squadron Leadership School. Class will begin at 0800 and run to 1700. The classroom will be at the 934th Air Wing, in Bldg 745. (This is where Ft Snelling usually holds it's meetings). *All regristration must be recieved by 21 Nov 02 so the Entry Access List can be forwared to base security!* Cost of the activity: $5.00 *payable at first day of class Contact Capt Doug Jansen for more information.
